John Kricfalusi, Creator of REN and STIMPY Brings Classic Kiddie Cartoons and Rare Cartoons From His Vaults to the Flagstaff Film Festival
The Flagstaff Film Festival is proud to announce the addition of two special programs to our week-long celebration of film and media. John Kricfalusi, creator of the classic and much-beloved Ren & Stimpy cartoons joins us live and in person for JOHN K. PRESENTS A KIDDIE MATINEE and A JOHN K. RETROSPECTIVE.

John K kicks off our full-day celebration of cartoons, Animation Nation, on Saturday, August 14th. JOHN K. PRESENTS A KIDDIE MATINEE shows from 1:00 - 2:30 PM at the historic Orpheum Theater in downtown Flagstaff. This kid-friendly, hour-and-a-half program includes classic slapstick and mayhem from the Golden Age of Cartoons. After the presentation, John K sticks around to meet, greet and SKETCH you ($10 for kids; $20 for adults) alongside his very own characters, Ren and Stimpy.

John K returns to the Orpheum Saturday evening at 7:00 PM with a more adult-oriented program, A JOHN K. RETROSPECTIVE. Audiences are treated to a program of cartoons from John K's very own archive, some never seen, some banned from TV! John K. introduces each cartoon and gives behind-the-scenes stories of the making of them. He also sticks around after the screening to chat with audiences and sketch caricatures ($20 for adults).

John K. cartoon merchandise will be available for purchase before and after both programs.
